Introduction to SG Cyber Safe Programme — Cyber Trust mark
In an era where cyber threats are growing in complexity, organizations must adopt robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard their digital assets and build trust with stakeholders. The Cyber Trust mark, introduced under the SG Cyber Safe Programme by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA), certifies advanced organisations' security readiness, using risk-based approach to match protection with digital exposure levels.
What is the Cyber Trust mark?
The Cyber Trust mark is a cybersecurity certification awarded to organizations that demonstrate a high level of cybersecurity maturity. As an industry-recognized certification, the Cyber Trust mark serves as a mark of distinction for organisations to prove that they have put in place good cybersecurity practices and measures that are commensurate with their cybersecurity risk profile.
Cyber Trust mark provides a guided approach for organisation to access cybersecurity risks and preparedness. It also takes on a risk-based approach to meet your organisation needs without over-investing.
The cybersecurity preparedness domains are organised in five (5) tiers to cater to the varying sizes, profiles and business needs of enterprises:
1. Supporter
2. Practitioner
3. Promoter
4. Performer
5. Advocate
The certification process is conducted by Transpacific Certifications (Singapore) Pte Ltd (TCSPL), a certification body appointed by CSA under the SG Cyber Safe Programme.
Who is it for?
The Cyber Trust mark is targeted at medium to large enterprises or organizations that handle sensitive data, operate in high-risk sectors, or provide critical services. It is particularly beneficial for businesses that require a higher level of cybersecurity assurance due to regulatory, industry, or customer requirements.
Organizations that have already attained the Cyber Essentials mark and wish to further strengthen their cybersecurity resilience may consider progressing to the Cyber Trust mark.
